-
One of the main advantages of DTF fluorescent transfers is the ability to achieve vibrant and eye-catching designs. The fluorescent inks used in DTF transfers are specially formulated to create intense colors that stand out, even in low-light conditions. This makes them ideal for creating designs that need to grab attention, such as promotional apparel, event merchandise, or team uniforms.
Another advantage of DTF fluorescent transfers is their versatility. They can be used on a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends. This means that you can create custom designs on various garments, from t-shirts and hoodies to caps and bags. The transfers also have excellent washability, ensuring that your designs remain vibrant and intact even after multiple washes.
Furthermore, DTF fluorescent transfers offer a high level of detail and resolution. The printing process allows for intricate designs with sharp lines and fine details, making them suitable for intricate logos, complex artwork, and even photographs. This level of detail is achieved without compromising the color intensity, resulting in visually stunning prints.
Easy Application
-
To ensure your DTF transfer looks professionally pressed every time, follow these five simple steps.
- No Need To Pre-Press Or Pre-Iron: Removing moisture is unnecessary. Only do a prepress if you so desire.
- Position Your Design: Take your time to line up your transfer in the desired location on your item. Normally, there is no need to use heat-resistant tape on flat heat presses to keep your design in place, however, it is highly recommended when pressing transfers onto hats or when using an iron to keep the transfer in place. You’ll get a feel for when this is needed. For more precise positioning, use DTF Alignment Ruler Set.
- Press: Press your transfer with medium pressure at 310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds. You cannot damage the transfer by pressing with more heat, pressure, or time -- within reason. However, too much heat can damage your garment, so test first and use parchment paper or a protective guard sheet to protect your garment from a direct iron.
- Let It Cool. Then Peel It: After pressing, let your transfer rest until it is cool to the touch (minimum of 15-30 seconds). To speed up the cooling process, use Fast Cool Peel Air Transfer Blower.
- Once cool, lift the transfer from one corner and gently peel back. We have a saying in the dojo, which is, don’t use your hands, use your EYES. This ensures every piece of your design is adhering to your item. If not, stop peeling, lay it back down, and troubleshoot as follows -- (1.) If some or all of the design does not transfer AND it was cool when peeling, it means there was not enough heat, pressure, or time. You truly can damage the transfer by pressing multiple times.
- Final Press & Wash Instructions: When washing, flip the shirt inside out, wash on cold, and dry using low heat or hang.
- Image Guidelines
- The original image must be a minimum of 300 dpi and in PNG, SVG, or JPEG format.
- Note: enlarging a 300dpi image (i.e. from 3" to 9") and exporting it may cause pixelation and quality issues.
- Color shifts can occur when converting to CMYK for DTF printing.
- Do not mirror your image, and please use transparent or removed backgrounds (unless you want the background printed).
- We recommend a minimum of 7.5px/0.25" for small fonts or thin lines to ensure the ink and powder is applied properly.
- Avoid neon glow, gradients, and soft edges. DTF printers can have issues printing these designs accurately.
- We print what we receive. Spelling, placement, sizing, and image quality will not be fixed by our team.
